With a background in education, I understand the importance of clarity and understanding as you approach your retirement planning. Working with a financial advisor is an important decision, one I want you to feel comfortable and confident with. There are no high-pressure sales tactics, and the first phone call is always easy and paperwork-free.

Above all, I want to understand why money is important to you. That’s why I build personalized relationships with my clients. I’m not just your financial advisor. I am a trusted advocate here to help you through retirement. I understand these are not just numbers on a page—it’s your financial future.

  • STEP 1

The first step is to speak with you one-on-one to understand your concerns, goals, and dreams for your financial future. I want to help you focus on what you care about most. We probably won’t even talk numbers. During this initial contact, I am not putting pen to paper and sending you a contract. We are just chatting to confirm it makes sense for both of us to continue down this path. There is no cost or obligation. If it makes sense to speak again, we’ll move on to Step 2.

  • STEP 2

During this time I would like to learn more about you, your family, and your financial situation and goals. We can visit in person or virtually—whichever works best for you.

  • STEP 3

Once I’ve had a chance to learn more about you, I can begin building your customized plan.

  • STEP 4

By now you’ve probably thought of some really good questions you forgot to ask during our first call. And maybe you’ve done some Googling. Let’s visit again and talk about your plan. Are there opportunities for improvement? How can I help you achieve your goals?

  • STEP 5

Go for a hike. Do some yoga. Think about what we talked about, and what we didn’t. What other questions do you have?

  • STEP 6

This is actually the easiest step. Once we agree that it makes sense to work together, we go through a streamlined process to make it easy on you. We will do all the heavy lifting.

Above all, I believe financial planning requires a relationship built on respect, accountability, and, most importantly, trust. I am accessible when you have questions or concerns. There is no 800 number or call center with me, you will get a dedicated financial advisor who is both proactive and responsive.
